 These two pictures are my favorite!  Julianna was having a great time playing with DAD!

Savanna's Dance Pictures

Savanna has LOVED clogging this year, and she is very sad that her dance studio is not going to be offering it again next year.  She has a cute shimmery hat that matches the outfit, but we wanted to show off her cute hair!

And, my sweet ballerina!  Savanna will be in pointe next year and will receive her pointe shoes!  A true little ballerina!  And as always, Savanna got sunburned the day before her ballet pictures.  It happens EVERY year.  Most of the time we can blame it on Grandpa who takes them swimming for hours on end.  This time it was our own fault.  We spent the day before at Tyler State Park hiking and swimming in the lake!

Julianna is still very unstable in her walking, but she is up to taking 5 steps.  The cutest part of this is her little wave. I like how she looks at her hand like it is a separate entity, and she is in awe of what it can do.  She still only says Dada, but she has added tongue tricks to her repertoire!

Tyler State Park

 We decided to play hooky from all responsibilities in the middle of the week!  It was WoNdeRFul!!  Tyler State Park is only 1.5 hrs away from us, and it is beautiful.  We pretty much had the lake to ourselves.  We hiked around the lake first and followed that up with a delicious picnic packed by my most wonderful husband!

After that it was time to get ready to swim!  Julianna in her Olympic Synchronized Swimming Suit makes me smile every time I see it.  She is So very cute!! And Julianna LOVES the water!  She could swim (or take a bath) all day long every day!

 And there is her adorable little wave!

 Dryden is scared of the water (compliments of an unfortunate swimming trip with Allison).  He spent his time on the steps dipping water out of the lake one bucket at a time!

It was a wonderful day!  And even better...we were home in time to leave the kids home while Brent and I went out by ourselves for a while!

Halloween Happenings

My Baby Boy is 2!!

September 23rd

This is how our day started out.  Looks like the terrible twos have started bright and early this morning!  The grumpiness is due to the fact that I wasn't fast enough on his morning cup of milk.  The boy needs his milk to get the day started!


Dryden's birthday was pretty low key.  A 2 year old doesn't need a whole lot.  Still, we tried to make it somewhat memorable (taking all  kids anywhere is always memorable!)


And where is the first place we think of when we want to make those special memories...Sam's Club of course!  So off to Sam's we went for lunch!

 And of course a date with Diego and Dora is all that Dryden really needed!

A little play time with his brothers is always in order!

And even with Grandma!

Dryden loved his cake.  I thought it was pretty cute too before Dryden decided to try his cars out on the race track.  That doesn't work so well when it is made of Oreos!

The presents were definitely the highlight, however.  I think especially the mini Scooby-Doo dressed up as Batman.  The boy loves Scooby.
