Happy Father's Day to my wonderful husband! It definitely wasn't a day of leisure and ease that Brent deserved. I still wasn't feeling well, and Brent pretty much took care of the kids most of the day! The kids all love to wrestle with dad, and Dryden is starting to show interest in this activity as well. He just wasn't quite sure how to join in on all of the fun!
Today was my first experience having the primary children sing during sacrament. It was a complete and utter FAILURE!! They all stood up there and looked at me like I was an alien asking them to sing in a foreign language!! And then we get into primary, and they just sang their little hearts out--go figure. I almost marched them into priesthood to have them try all over again!! Oh well...just a humiliating, I mean humbling experience for me :)
After church the kids all pitched in to make breakfast...errrr...I mean dinner. Savanna is making the waffles. Braden is frying the ham, and Allison is scrambling the eggs. It was all delicious!
I am grateful for Brent and all that he does. I am also thankful for my dad and his life of dedication and service and love. I definitely miss him, but I'm incredibly grateful for the knowledge that Families are Forever.
