I guess that we are on a roll. We had another trip to Medical City yesterday, and it wasn't for me! I had told the kids no more hospital visits until Mom went to have the baby. They just didn't listen. Allison was laying on the floor yesterday morning doing her school work when Camden, thinking it was time to play, decided to jump on her. He jumped on her head and caused it to hit the ground with such force that she bit through the skin under her lip and above her chin--don't really know what you call that part of the body! Off to the hospital we go after frantically calling around trying to find someone to watch the rest of the kids. Thankfully Tracy came to the rescue and took the rest of the kids with her to the park!
Allison was a trooper. I thought that I had been so secretive in all of my phone calls as I had gone in my room and shut the door. I found out later in the day that she and S
avanna heard every word. So my attempts to keep her calm totally back fired. No wonder she was hyper ventilating when I came back out! We drove up to the hospital in of course rush hour traffic which made it terribly slow. Brent met us up there not too long after we got there. Allison ended up getting two stitches and treated to ice cream and a stack of new books on the way home. Brent stayed with her the whole time. I hadn't slept well at all the night before, and I had already threatened to pass out a couple of times from the stress and the sight of all of the blood. So, before they came in with the needle to deaden the area, I hugged my little girl and left her in the capable hands of her father and went to take care of the rest of the troop.

I did try to get the hospital staff to deliver the baby while I was there, but they weren't offering any 2 for 1 specials that day!
Braden has been very diligent in saying his prayers and has even converted Camden over to his ways. For the longest time when Braden would tell Camden that he needed to say his prayers Camden would refuse and say, "I no need to say prayers." Braden has been a very good example, and he has even been praying that the bad people will learn the commandments which I thought was very thoughtful and sweet of my little boy.
And Brent insisted on this picture--This is the reason that I look the way I do! Honestly, I didn't eat the entire pie. I simply didn't want another dish to wash! I have given in to the inevitable that this baby is going to be big and that delivery is really going to hurt. Why torture myself with no treats. I'm just going to enjoy the last three weeks of being pregnant!
