Lunch is the time when the kids have free reign of the conversation. At dinner they more often than not here "Kids are to be seen and not heard! It's our turn to talk!"
So last week the topic of conversation at lunch was who would get MY new earrings when I an dead. Nice to know that my girls love me. Braden reassured me that he didn't have any need of earrings and that he didn't even like girls to have earrings. Camden piped right up: "I love girls who wear earrings!"
Today the conversation at lunch was more centered around the boys:
Braden: "I'm always going to be older than you (referring to Camden). Well, unless I die I guess."
Camden: "I don't want to die"
Allison: "Don't worry. You aren't going to die for a really long time."
Braden: "You're right. Dad is still alive, and he is 35!" (said with horror and astonishment).
Gotta love 'em!
