January was very very cold and in general very very miserable. For example:
This is how most of the family looked for most of the month! We were contaminated at church--the only place we are ever infested by germs! We had influenza and then on top of that part of us had strep throat as well. It was miserable and there was someone ill for three solid weeks.
We had lots of snow and ice as well. However, as I am opposed to being cold we have absolutely no pictures of any of it. I was happy to see it disappear as that meant that the mountain of wet and dirty clothes that accumulated by the back door also disappeared.
There was one small highlight to the month. One day I received a call from the place that does ultrasounds, and they asked if I could come in that day! It was wonderful....no anticipation of the big day; just hurry and get dressed and off I went! Allison made a cake to celebrate the results:
Everyone was overjoyed...everyone except Braden that is. He really wanted another boy, and he is still holding out hope that there was some egregious error made and that we will still have a boy. It could happen....Camden was very excited. He just wanted to know where she was and if he could see her. The girls, Camden and I have had lots of fun doing a little online shopping for our new little addition!
