The Very Watchable Camden

Our funny little boy...the picture really doesn't have anything to do with the post except that it is funny.  It is now the beginning of January and the kid is still wearing the same outfit!  Boots match with anything...don't they?

A couple of weeks ago I was taking Camden to his Gymnastics class and the whole gang was coming with us on this particular occasion.  I prefer not to take everyone everywhere all of the time because I get tired of explaining that yes they are all mine and that we homeschool.  Sometimes it is nice to just blend in with the crowd and be anonymous!  Anyway, when Camden discovered that everyone was coming to watch him, he declared, "Oh Good!  Because I am very watchable!"

Camden LOVES his gymnastics class.  He wasn't in the kids gym level 1 class for very long before they moved him to level 2.  Both classes are just for fun and for preschool aged kids.  Well Camden's first class had quite a few boys in it which he loved.  His second class has been all girls.  He has about 10 times more energy than all of the little girls put together.  Camden's goal is to do each routine as fast and with as much energy as possible.  At times the girls hold up his progress!  And sometimes he is just driven to go around them and then often laps them in the process.  It has been pretty amusing to watch.  Anyway, last week his coach decided that it was time for  Camden to be tested for the all boys class.  Camden passed with flying colors and will be attending his first all boys gymnastics class (where the girls are all X'd out he claims) this coming week.  The coaches have all been amazed at how strong he is and how well he listens.  They had him up on the rings where he even managed a pull up--not an easy feet.  He is beyond excited!
