One Week Old

My sweet baby is already one week old! As you can see, most of the time has been spent in sleeping--on his part, not mine! It didn't take long for Dryden to decide that he didn't like the bassinet. He prefers more plush surroundings which unfortunately meant that he slept in my bed for several nights. We finally got the crib set up and now he is a happy camper.

We haven't ventured too far outside of the house yet since we would prefer to avoid catching the flu, but we did go to a park in Waxahachie while Brent was preparing a witness, and we did go for a short walk one afternoon. We didn't go too far as my hips still aren't completely back in place.

My mom is here now, and it is wonderful to have her here! We are just feeling very blessed this week--except maybe Brent who has had to try and catch up and keep on top of all of the work that he has--poor guy!
