We had a great time just hanging out with family while in Nebraska last weekend. The kids had so much fun with their cousins. It is sad that we don't live closer. Braden found a kindred spirit in Parker. They spent every waking minute playing X-Box together. Savanna and Guin were inseparable and could be found running around outside or sitting by Grandma playing barbies. Camden and Vivian (who are only 4 months apart) were great pals this trip. Last year they had a much harder time getting along. They were adorable together this time. Allison oversaw and intermingled with everyone. It was nice to spend time with Clint and Erin and Jared or Uncle as all the kids seem to call him.
We were all kind of sad to leave Sunday morning, but it had to be done. The girls were going to stay with Grandma and Grandpa for a week, but Allison began to get worried over leaving home. And then I began to get worried about leaving Savanna without Allison. I decided it was better that she come home too. That was devastating to poor Savanna. It was the right decision, though, as Savanna has been ill the past few days. She has the same cold or flu or something that I have. Her asthma adds a whole new dimension to it, however.
It was a wonderful trip! We miss all of our family already!
