Funny Faces and Firsts

I guess I really should say firsts and seconds. Dryden's second tooth broke through yesterday, and he has been so much happier since!

Dryden has also graduated to having his own room. It was a sad day in multiple respects. That was the last baby to ever sleep in my room, and I had to give up my guest room! My beautiful guest room that I just finished decorating! I didn't trust the baby in with Braden and Camden--imagine that! I would imagine that by the time I have company visit again that Dryden will be ready to share a room with his brothers. That will be quite the room--three little boys!

Dryden is doing the inch worm crawl very slowly, but fast enough that he has demolished or should I say devoured a school assignment or two. He also figured out how to sit himself up which is quite amusing since he can't sit up on his own for very long.

Dryden has also taken quite an interest in toys. He is tired of his three baby toys. He really doesn't want to have anything to do with them. He was being cross earlier this week but it wasn't time to eat or take a nap so I took him into the boys room which was littered with toys, and he was in heaven. All kinds of new things to look at and grab. I just had to have a talk with Camden about age appropriate toys since Camden was trying to give Dryden all of the "baby" Lightening McQueen cars. Miniture cars and a baby aren't a good combination. Camden has spent quite a bit of time "playing" with Dryden. They even had some quality Leapster time together! It has been very cute!

Dryden has also tried both bananas and peaches this week. He loves bananas, but the peaches weren't quite up his alley. Of course that could have been because they were cold. I used peaches that we were having for dinner and they were right out of the fridge. So that was quite a shock to him.

There have been several funny things that have happened this week. Of course, I can't think of any of them now! I'll either remember later or they will happen again I'm sure.

Springtime calls--time to play outside!
