Yes we had a whole day devoted to fish. The kids were just thankful that we were viewing them and not eating them! They keep keen watch over what goes in and what comes out of the oven these days. I'm not sure our field trip yesterday will aid in their developing taste for fish. But, it was sure fun!
We had a family fun day at the Texas Freshwater Fish Hatchery out in Athens. It was a way cool place--especially since we had never even heard of it before! They had all kinds
of Texas born and raised fish in tanks. We saw a dive show. We took a tour of the hatchery; went on a hike; and even tried our hand at fishing--very briefly! It was a very enjoyable day, and so nice to be able to spend it with Brent. He has been exceptionally busy lately and hasn't had a whole lot of free time.
By the end of our outing we were all wiped out. Some from overly excited all day like Camden, and some of us from severe allergies like Braden, Savanna and me! The three of us were chowing down on the Benedryl on the way home. Thank goodness we always have some on hand!
