Pei Wei

Camden learned to be clean and dry at night and earned his choice of toy at the toy store.  It has been a long time coming, but we are all SO happy that he is finally there.  To celebrate we made a whole fun day of it.  We started out by going to the big Half Price Book store and had a wonderful time!  We LOVE that place and could spend hours there.  Everyone enjoyed a morning of reading and buying their favorites.  We followed that up by going to the big Toys R Us in Uptown Dallas.  Grandma took the big kids and wandered around with them while I took Camden so that he would really be able to pick out his own present without any outside influences.  He enjoyed himself thoroughly and finally decided on a lego castle set.  He even picked out a set that was on sale!  Yippee for me!

And since we were already in uptown and it was approaching lunch time we decided that a little trip to Pei Wei was in order.  Now just imagine me with my mom and my 5 kids in uptown at peak business lunch hour.  We were quite the spectacle to be seen.  Pei Wei was stuffed to the gills as well.  All three boys and mom and I sat at one table and then I put the girls across the aisle a little ways off.  They were in two seats of a four seat table and during lunch hour every seat is occupied.  It wasn't too long before the girls had table mates.  The girls are pretty well mannered, but they do like to people watch, and they were in close proximity to some new people!  I finally had to snag them on their way by to abscond with more fortune cookies and tell them that they weren't to stare or talk incessantly to the people sitting next to them.  Their table mates did question the girls about where were their parents!  I'm pretty sure that the kids came pretty close to eating their weight in fortune cookies.  Who needs to buy them a meal!

Overall it was a very enjoyable day!
