Another Belt Test

 Yes indeed it is time for another belt test.  Savanna and Allison were ready to test for their green belt.  Braden who hasn't been quite as devoted is going to have to wait a little while.  The girls were very nervous, but they did an AWESOME job.  Savanna even fought through her nervousness and tears during her kata and sparring and was able to complete everything. 

They had to wait from Thursday to Monday to find out if they had passed.  Their instructor is kind enough to call them before hand if they aren't going to pass.  All weekend long the girls were afraid every time the phone rang.  They were sure it was Ms. Savoie saying that they hadn't passed.  By the time Monday morning rolled around they were starting to feel some relief until Mom and Dad declared that we didn't think that their teacher had our phone number!  They would have to wait until their class to see if they had passed. 

It was pretty funny.  Even though I kept reassuring them all weekend that they had done a wonderful job and had for sure passed, they were still worried when class rolled around. 

Of course they passed!
