Arboretum

The temperature was perfect. The sky was a gorgeous blue. Unfortunately, the humidity was stifling. I'm sure that you are wondering who in their right mind would go to the Arboretum in August. Well, those of us who can't afford it at any other time. August was dollar days--hooray--except for parking which was OUTRAGEOUS! Oh well... It was fun to wander around even if there weren't any flowers to speak of...

The most exciting event of the day was when Camden stuck his head through some cement fence rails and then was unable to un-stick his head! The girls and I were down below in a walled in garden and Camden was stuck staring down at us. It was very reminiscent of the Disney movie Bolt which we love. All I could do was laugh and say "Turn and Pull!" Too funny.

My goal of the trip was to get some cute individual pictures of the kids to update my picture wall. The girls could have posed all day for me. The boys were less than cooperative. Big surprise to all.

The kids definitely had the most fun playing in the spitting frogs. I was unaware that there was water in which to play or I might have chosen different outfits for the kids. Everyone is entitled to look like white trash at one time or another. This was our day!

Best of Friends

Everyone is excited about our day at the arboretum--except Braden!!
Camden was the official guide.  He kept us on track.
Our little ham.  He had to try out EVERYTHING!

Everyone had fun in the frog spit--kind of disgusting if you ask me--water coming out of a frog's mouth?  I'm just saying!

Thank Goodness for big sisters!
